In Japan, AKB48 and other Japanese sister groups are involved in a senbatsu election once a year (since 2009) to choose which members will be featured in a new single. Wotas will then vote for their Oshimen so that she get featured in the single.

Quite similarly, this JKT48 Unofficial Senbatsu Election is held to find out who are the most supported members of JKT48. This election will run for one month until 0:00 AM on 29st of January 2012. 16 most voted members will be listed as the Senbatsu (unofficial) for JKT48. It might not have any effect on JKT48 dance formation or lineups for media interaction because this is an unofficial election, BUT, the members will surely receive your support and hopefully it will encourage them to do their best AND it will give us a clear picture who we want to see in the Senbatsu lineup. :) Who knows? the management might get a look at this ;)

To vote, simply click on the 'Tweet' button below the members' name that you want to support as your Oshimen. Be aware that a pop-up window will appear so make sure to allow pop-ups. Voting on different individual members are allowed. Spam votes are not allowed. The members' official twitter will also be automatically mentioned in the voting tweet so they know they are getting voted for.
